Jubilee Moscow International Art Festival "Traditions and Modernity" will be held at the Central Exhibition Hall “Manege” in Moscow from 5 to 10 March this year.
The Fifth Jubilee Arts Festival "Traditions and Modernity" will gather the more than 200 talented sculptors, graphic artists, painters, photographers, architects, installation, decorative arts and museum maters from around the world. The leitmotif of the festival is the idea of convergence of art from different countries and nationalities, the idea of uniting the representatives of contemporary art and culture from around the world.
A number of special projects will be organized as part of the fifth jubilee Festival "Traditions and Modernity" including the "Great Russia". The unique project will bring together participants not only from all regions and districts of the Russian Federation, but also artists from Belarus, Azerbaijan, Tatarstan, Armenia, Mordovia, Ossetia, Chechnya, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine. The project “Far and Close” will enable compatriots from the far and close foreign countries such as Austria, Bulgaria, Vietnam, Hungary, Germany, Holland, Hong Kong, Italy, Spain, Canada, Cyprus, Colombia, Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal, Poland, USA, Turkey, France, Czech Republic, Sweden, Switzerland and Japan to take part in the Arts Festival "Traditions and Modernity".
"Traditions and Modernity" Festival will present the public not only unique works of such masters as Salvador Dali, Malevich, Henri Matisse, but also works of modern masters and young artists, among which are works of the Russian President of Academy of Arts Zurab Tsereteli, M. Zhgivalev, E. Infelitsin , A. Oll, A. Karpychev, S. Vorobyov and many others.
At the festival will be held the "Faith" bronze statuette awards in such nominations as "Art", "Graphics", "Decorative Art", "Photograph," "Sculpture", "Architecture", "Installation", "Museums" and will be presented special awards "Best Project" and "Best Curator". A solemn ceremony will be attended by famous musicians and actors including the orchestra “Akademik Band”, Daniel Kramer, Alexei Kuznetsov, Peter Dranga, the “Kvatro”, Eddie Butler, “The Devyatovs Duet”, “Moscow Ragtime Band” and others.
