One of the most luxurious hotels in Moscow, the famous National Hotel was recently sold at the auction on behalf of the Department of Property of Moscow, which owned the share package of the capital National Hotel.

National Hotel is located at the crossroads of Tverskaya and Mokhovaya streets (Mokhovaya Street 15, 1) and is one of the oldest hotels in Moscow. This architectural monument was awarded with the title of the "Best Russian 5-star hotel" also has an exclusive "Royal" status. In the Moscow National Hotel stopped heads of states and governments, international pop stars and prominent cultural figures.

Auction from the Russian Auction House was held on December 22 for only 2 candidates. 100% of shares of the capital's best five-star National Hotel were sold to the Smart Finance Group director Erishana Kurazova who acted on behalf of the banker Michael Shishkhanov, who represented the interests of Sait-Salam Gutseriyev. High-class five-star hotel in the heart of Moscow overlooking the Kremlin was sold for 4674660000 Russian rubles (just over 112178000 Euros, or about 5210 Euros per square meter).

Moscow National Hotel with an area of 21 530.3 square meters has 2 land areas of 4285 m2 (with a lease term up to 26.8.2019) and 150 m2 (with unlimited lease term).

In recent years National Hotel experienced a series of major renovations (1985-1995, 2009) and currently has 201 rooms, including 56 luxurious suites, which are among the best in Moscow. National Hotel also has a unique collection of antique furniture and works of art from the Tsarskoye Selo and Anichkov palaces belonged to the royal family.

Reference: Mikail Shishkhanov and Sait-Salam Gutseriyev is respectively nephew and brother of the famous businessman from Ingushetia Mikhail Sfarbekovich Gutseriev, who, according to Forbes, is the 38th richest man in Russia and owner of the Russian Coal, RussNeft, Mospromstroi and several other highly profitable enterprises.
