New water hotels and restaurants will soon appear on the Moscow River in the heart of the Russian capital.

On the Moscow River are located about 100 operating landing stages, however, for a long time, according to the Mayor Luzhkov decree, it was prohibited to construct landing stages or similar objects in Moscow. In the coming months three new landing stages will be launched. It will be new floating hotels and restaurants.

Construction of 15 new landing stages with high-class hotels and restaurants is expected to be completed in 2013, while 200 more will be completed in the next 6 years. It is assumed that 30 hotels in the heart of Moscow will receive guests during the FIFA World Cup, which is to be held in Russia in 2018. At the moment the developed layout of the new hotel location on the Moscow River is being approved.

One of the first landing stages, which is currently being built on the Moscow River, will appear on the Kosmodamianskaya waterfront. The estimated cost of construction is 30 million rubles. After the building is completed a leisure club, restaurant and offices will open here.

It is assumed that the idea of creating new landing stages in Moscow will attract significant investment thanks to the clubs, cafes, restaurants and hotels, which rental will be significantly lower compared to the market prices.
