Blast in Domodedovo airport
The biggest Moscow's airport Domodedovo was shocked by a terrible explosion that killed 30 people and is considered to be a planned terrorist act.
According to the press service of the airport the blast occurred in the largest airport of the capital at 16:32 by Moscow time in the arrivals area between the flower stalls and shops of cellular phones in a dense group people waited for passengers from the green zone of the customs control.
According to preliminary data, the explosion is a terrorist act planned and realized by a group of suicide bombers. Power of the explosive device stuffed with metal striking elements is 5 kilograms of TNT.
As a result of a terrorist attack in the capital's Domodedovo airport were killed 35 people. More than 170 people were injured and wounded. As a result of the concerted actions of medics 86 people were hospitalized in the Sklifosovsky Institute of Emergency Care and hospitals number 7, 12, 13, 31, 64, 68 and 79. More than 40 injured are in poor condition.
Administration of the Moscow region declared its readiness to pay the victims of the terrorist attack in Domodedovo compensation of half a million rubles. Families of the people killed in the explosion will be paid 2 million rubles.
After the explosion were started criminal proceedings under the 205 article "Terrorist Act" of the Criminal Code, the article 105 "The murder of two or more persons" of the Criminal Code and the article 222 "Illicit trafficking in weapons and explosives" of the Criminal Code. The case is under investigation.
